Jenny Duffy A.K.A Everything is a Ballad, has amazed Vancouver karaoke audiences for decades! Recently she has made the move to writing original music rooted in the genres of pop and country-noir. Her music is achingly regional and acts as a ‘woke vox populi’ for her community. Why does she call her act “Everything’s a ballad”? The name comes from her approach to learning new songs, which often involves slowing things down into a ballad before bringing them up to speed.
